Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Consulting

• 1. Support the account team to understand the client current IT systems – applications, infrastructure, technologies, and tools
• 2. Lead in establishing a future operating model, to-be architecture – technology, tools, applications, products, infrastructure, etc
• 3. Lead in IT system estimation and budgeting – estimate for effort, technology, product licenses, AMC, development, support & maintenance costs etc. for total cost of ownership.
• 4. Translate the process requirements and functional specifications into technical specifications for development or for implementation of a COTS application

Presales

• 1. Assist to understand the business needs and current IT landscape
• 2. Assist the account team to draft the scope of work for the project and take it forward into a proposal post concurrence with the client
• 3. Assist in drafting and delivering presentations to prospects

Skills

Technologies – broad based understanding of contemporary technologies – Java, Oracle, Dot Net, etc. with some hands-on experience

Technologies – understanding of current trends and technologies –Analytics, Cloud Native, APIs, micro services, AI, etc.

Understanding of Technical Architecture

Understanding of software development estimation

Understanding of IT development and support methodologies – Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, ITIL, etc.

Should be able to evaluate technologies for recommending the best fit for customer requirements.

At least intermediate level expertise in Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Excellent English communication skills – spoken, written and presentation

Drafting skills – Business and Technical documentation

Experience

10-12 years of experience in business advisory / process improvement / IT consulting.

Prior experience in e-governance or government domain would be preferred.

Education

Graduate in engineering from a reputed institute.

A management degree would be an advantage.
