Roles and Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Long-term cloud strategy for large, complex, and distributed Govt. applications.
  • Engage with other Govt departments to understand their services and application portfolio.
  • Development of long-term Cloud Strategy for Govt.
  • Identify & develop specific opportunities and support Govt services.
  • Deal finalization, including estimations and pricing.
  • Contract negotiations & closing
  • Planning and implementation of a portfolio of projects, including budget & deliverable responsibilities.
  • Mitigation of delivery risks & issues.
  • Overseeing delivery of projects in account, ensuring high quality delivery.
  • Act as single point of contact for Customer executives, developing deep, trustful relations.
  • Educate customers on Meity empanelled cloud services and translate those into a clear business value proposition.
  • Envision and inspire customers.
  • Coaching Govt. IT teams to be self-sufficient.

BASIC QUALIFICATION

  • B. Tech/ B.E, MCA/ or Math background preferred.
  • Hands-on with over 8+ years’ experience with IP networking, VPN, load balancing, firewalling and cloud architecture.
  • Deep hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale as an enterprise architect, solution architect.
  • Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking ability about business, product, and technical challenges.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations.
  • Customer facing skills to represent and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science.
  • Work experience with Meity empanelled cloud service provider GCC /VPC with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP etc or any 3rd party application.
  • Strong track record of implementing cloud services in a variety of distributed computing environments.
  • Prior experience in a consulting role.
