1. Role Description: Oversee the administration, management & maintenance of the Cloud Infrastructure. NSOC Administrator have two primary responsibilities; configure the Cloud Management service, and monitor and manage the SOC services. Handle Server Infrastructure (SaaS & IaaS) to maintain performance at optimum levels and help in running various services on 24X7 basis.
2. Job Roles & Responsibilities
Regularly monitor, maintain & analyze system logs, performance monitoring of VMs including but not limited to monitoring CPU, disk space, memory utilization, I/O utilization, etc. Ensure that the bottlenecks in the infrastructure are identified and fine-tuning is done for optimal performance.
Management & creation of user accounts, applying proper access control for using any server resource / services.
Configuring, debugging & trouble shooting of cloud services running on Cloud infrastructure.
System log rotation. Monitoring & managing of VM/host security at infrastructure at level.
Maintaining/ updating the documents on process/ procedures/ user-manuals etc. related to the activities involved in. Track on the OS/patch updates.
Prepare, get approval and implement Business Continuity Plans for the services hosted on the cloud.
Conduct ongoing monitoring and maintenance to ensure stability and optimal performance on all server environments.
Ensure proper configuration and security on all server environments.
Schedule & implement routine maintenance tasks & ensure updating of disaster prevention programs.
Keep abreast of emerging threats affecting VMs and cloud infrastructure and associated services. Implement measures to safeguard the cloud infrastructure against such threats.
3. Required Skills & Experience, Qualification
3.1 Skills & Experience:
4-7 years of relevant experience in medium-large scale technology environment.
Experience with various virtualization technologies and multi-tenant, private and hybrid cloud environments
Experience in maintaining IIS, Apache Web Server, Load Balancers.
Familiarity with PowerShell or any other form of scripting & automation and Data Centre environment.
Encryption & Security Protocols (SSL/TLS, Kerberos, IPSec, VPN).
Hands-on experience in Active Directory/ LDAP, SCCM, DLP and virtualization technologies (Citrix/ VMware).
Hands-on experience in LAN/ Cloud Instance/VPC Hardening.
Setup, Manage, and Configure - SYSLOG, VPN, SNMP, SSH, Telnet, RDP, Load Balancers.
Ability to secure cloud applications and data against theft, loss, or other disasters.
Capacity, planning and management, performance tuning, system upgrades, bug fixes and implementation of software patches.
3.2 Desired Qualification:
BE/ B.Tech/ MCA from a recognized university.
Should be AWS/ Azure/ Google Cloud/ MCSE/ RHCE certified.
