About Role

The person will handle the agencies engaged by GSTN to design, develop, host and maintain the course content for training of the level A & B professionals. The course content will be developed by agency on the basis of GST Law, Rules, Notifications & Circulars, GST Portal etc. The content will be made available to trainees online via a dedicated portal and also through dedicated mobile app, by the selected Agencies.

The course will consist of a combination of reading material, video tutorials and animations, practice questions, & documents, as vetted by GSTN. After the content is gone through by the trainee, they will be required to take test on the relevant lesson of that module.

Accessing of the content by the trainee will be monitored and logs will be kept by the Agency. Trainee will also be informed about the progress made by them module-wise and hours of training completed by them. Complete MIS of these activities undertaken by trainees will also be provided by the agency to GSTN.

Agency will also prepare question and answer banks for testing the trainees. The Course Content will be suitably revised by the agency from time to time.

The agency will share a detailed schedule and plan for the entire project covering all tasks and sub tasks required for successful execution of the project. The agency has to get the plan approved from GSTN at the start of the project and keep GSTN updated at regular intervals to ensure tracking of the progress of the project.

The agency will host the course content and provide the following services on a dedicated portal:

  • Registration of trainees by obtaining their credentials, Photo Id, Educational Certificates etc.
  • Appropriate access to the course content to the trainees on the portal of the agency.
  • The services will be hosted by the agency on the Cloud environment or a dedicated server.
  • A support system will be provided by the Agency for the users to log their complaints for technical or any content related aspects (like login, course content related aspects, password etc.), on the website and get a resolution by contacting via phone/email/chat. The resolution may be provided within 4 hours of lodging a complaint.

Key Responsibilities

To manage all work related to agency like content development, content approval by GSTN, its hosting and its usability & access by the trainees.

Work with managers of GSTN Services team to address learning issues, instruction problems, and new educational needs and approval of the training content.

Research new training techniques and enhance the training program on portal as provided by the agency.

Create the certification program/rating system/score card to maintain the standards and to monitor progress of the trainees.

Monitor creation of course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs of the trainees.

Monitor training programme and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up-to-date and regularly updated by the Agency on the basis of changes made in the GST law.

Prepare the feedback analysis for continual improvement in training.

Designing & validating training modules for e-learning course content.

Prepare MIS reports & Training Dashboards

Track the progress of the Trainees enrolled on the Portal of the Agency on parameters of successful completion of Modules and Course Content within the stipulated time and their success rate in the examination conducted by the CBIC notified Agency to become a certified GST Practitioner.

Track the uptime of the Portal and other facilities of the agency for the benefit of the trainees

Monitoring the fees being charged by agencies from the trainees and its adherence to prescribed limits

Ensure adherence of the selected Agency to the terms and conditions of the contract entered into between the Agency and GSTN.

Required Skills

MBA/ PG Diploma in Project Management/ Any similar degree or diploma with 10+ years of experience in L&D.

Proven project management, develop and monitoring skills

Supervisory and staff development skills coupled with strong interpersonal skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills, Good Presentation Skills.

Skill in technology related to cloud, websites, training content development & hosting, Learning Management Systems for monitoring of training, as available in the relevant fields.
